It seems that it’s in those “chance” meetings that we are fortunate to find our life partners. For Brian & Jeff, it was a GLBT affinity group meeting at their company. It just so happened that the only seat unoccupied happened to be next to “this very handsome guy with very distinguished salt and pepper hair.” Seven years later, they decided to take the big step and make the relationship official. For their honeymoon, they’ll wait and get out of the Chicago heat in August as they journey off for a 10-day Mediterranean cruise from Venice to Athens.

It was indeed a beautiful ceremony and I have shared the wedding with many friends. I was honored to be there and called Aunt J
Great article and photos, but I will admit this was the best wedding I have ever attended. Fun, themed, great location, people, food and fantastic music. The type of event everyone should be able to have.
It is truly an honor to be a featured wedding and be able to share the single most important day of my life. If you asked me seven years ago if I would be married, I would have said no, that is something that we can’t do. However seven years is a long time, and after spending nearly everyday with Brian, a wedding before our families and friends was not only fitting, but appropriate. We couldn’t have asked for a better night and everything fell into place seamlessly, thanks to all that were involved. Besides getting married to Brian, the greatest moment about that night was looking around the room and seeing friends dance with our families, from young nephews to grandmas and everyone was there to recognize our commitment to each other. It was truly an amazing night! Thank you Strictly Weddings for sharing our moment with others!
Sorry.. THANK YOU STRICTLY WEDDINGS for posting this. This is what happens when I type without any coffee.
I was honored to work with such a wonderful couple. I thank them again for all their trust in letting me do what I love so much, and creating such a perfect day. The wedding was just amazing. When vendors even get choked up and are in awe, I know I’ve done my job. I am so sure that they will be just has happy as I am in my marriage. (21 years for us this March.) With more gay couples doing this, it will only affirm to the rest of the world that there is NO difference between us and straight couples, and hopefully one day, we will get the right to legally marry. Thanks Strictly Weddings for posting this.
Congratulations Brian and Jeff!! I know this partnership, will be the best to come:) Love the Cake-great taste:)
