One of our favorite websites to go to to view unique and unusual wedding veils and wedding hair accessories is Twigs & Honey. There is always a romantic and nostalgic feel to her designs. And with some of the wedding gowns we’re seeing for 2012 that are blush or ivory, these would be exquisite.

Twigs & Honey ® pieces are made with attention to detail and an interest in fine craftsmanship. Since the first styles were released, the designs have included handmade and hand dyed or painted silk flowers, hand sewn embellishments and other intricate detailing. Wedding Hair Accessories – Inspiration from Era’s Past

We found these lovely hair accessories by Jannie Baltzer for the bride who desires something different from the traditional wedding veil. They are beautifully made – elegant and glamorous. 

Baltzer’s inspiration comes from the details of past eras; the French Bohemianism of the early 1900′s, the details of the Art Deco movement and the glamour of 1920′s Hollywood, which is expressed in the luxurious materials such as: French lace, Edwardian Lace, silk and soft chiffon.

The designer only uses hand made flowers, and all the bead work is handcrafted with beautiful Preciosa crystals and pearls at her studio in Copenhagen. Baltzer graduated from the Scandinavian Academy of International Fashion and Design in Copenhagen, receiving an honorary prize from Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte for the most creative collection.

Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby.” We both agreed that this setting and the gowns are very romantic and we’d love to be there! So brides, if it fits your style, don’t shy away from the beauty of lace or from wispy touches of femininity when searching for your wedding gown and wedding accessories. Wedding Trends – Brides and their Boots!

We are seeing more and more Brides and their Boots and they’re not just any boots! They are going all out with Custom Boots (as shown here), with their initials on them, expensive skins and the list goes on.

StrictlyWeddings.com was invited to our wonderful partners here in Dallas, Stanley Korshak Bridal Salon for an “oh so fun shoot” with some amazing boots. Becky and Loree, from the Bridal Salon, were our models that day and we also grabbed one handsome man from the men’s department to model the men’s boots (and he was wearing a beautiful Zegna suite-wow!).

Here are a few ideas for incorporating boots into your wedding:

• Brides might opt to have just the boots for their engagement session.
• If you are looking to have a custom pair made, talk to some of the wedding planners on our site. They may be able to guide you to some of the best places around to find the perfect fit.
• Wear your heels for the wedding, then change to your boots for the reception.
