It’s difficult not to feel like you’ve stepped back into another era when you enter Dallas’ Adolphus Hotel. It’s grandeur and sophisticated allure is unlike many of the newer hotels and Dallas wedding reception venues.
I can remember being a young girl and my Mother would take me shopping at Downtown Dallas’ Neiman Marcus, but the first thing we did was go to The Adolphus Hotel, where I remember thinking, if I can spend one night here, I would be the Fairy Princess! Well I’m not the fairy princess, but I do have many wonderful memories dining at the world-renown French Room and staying in one of their many grand rooms. (more…)
Dining in a Chef’s kitchen is like being in Disney World, it is so magical. Watching them preparing the meal that the two of you designed for your guests. The energy that is in the Chef’s kitchen is incredible. The excitement of picking out the wines with the Chef, learning which wine would be served with each course (and why).
A dinner such as this could be the perfect Rehearsal Dinner. Not only will you and the groom have a memorable evening, but even more important, it’s an evening to make your wedding party feel oh so special.
If you think this is a direction you’d like to take for your rehearsal dinner, check first that the Chef of your choice can accommodate a large group, pictured here is a table set for 21 guests. You may even see if it could be in your own home and bring the Chef and his staff in (bigger bucks there). Be sure to ask your wedding planner about this option, it’s a true way to thank your wedding party.
