More stunning wedding gowns from Italian designer Atelier Aimée. Recently, we posted a number of gowns from Aimee that could be considered more dreamlike in their design, yet these gowns are pure Diva!
(Actually, they call for dramatic captions … care to share yours?)
If you only knew how hard we work to find these posts for special celebrations such as St. Patrick’s Day! We just know we have couples out there who are great fans of St. Patrick’s Day weddings or maybe you just love the idea of a green wedding theme. Anyway, here are some wonderful sweet treats and Wedding Cake designs for your March wedding from TheCaketress.com out of Canada.

So scrumptious wedding gowns or yummy cookies? Or is it the other way around? We found these amazing cookies, yes, they’re cookies, exquisitely designed by Connie dos Santos on ConnieCupcake.com. They’re almost too pretty to eat. Then we decided to teamed these gorgeous creations up with some scrumptious wedding gowns.
We must say, we can certainly get behind Connie’s outlook on life (please go visit her website and be amazed!). “It’s about kicking the rules, the diet, and most importantly restraint to the curb. I believe dessert is more than a treat, it’s a celebration – an opportunity for artistic expression, for beauty, for surprise and delight. It reminds us of our childhood, of wild expectations and unbridled joy.” Works of us! Bon Appétit

Desserts have always been an important element at weddings. However, in recent years we noticed that in addition to the traditional wedding cake, other “smaller sweet options” are offered. These mini-desserts – cupcakes, mini-pastries, and now cake pops – serve the function of those who constantly watch their sweet intake, yet even more (we think) is the beautiful display that they present. They truly are adorable and so very creative.
What are your thoughts? What sweet treat trend are you seeing at your friend’s weddings?

These yummy mini-desserts were part of a resent featured wedding.
There’s writer’s block, creative block, mental block (all we’ve experienced) and so we made up “wedding block.” Then we found this photo in Pinterest; it just resonated and matched our scrambled brains! (Although it had to have taken great skill on their part to create).
Have a great weekend!
