New York Times Square Engagement

Times Square: One of the busiest places on the planet, constantly surrounded by tourists, bikers, vendors, street performers, musicians, taxis, skyscrapers, and enormous billboards advertising everything from fashion to food to electronics and even engagements. Simon decided this was the perfect stage to propose to his girlfriend, Jessica. On vacation from Australia, Simon contacted Gruber Photographers and we had our espionage photographer extraordinaire, Maike Schulz, head over to record Simon's secret proposal and (hopefully) Jessica's acceptance.

Located in the center of it all, Simon purchased time on the MTV billboard with a personalized message and proposal to Jessica. Maike captured all the exciting moments of the future bride and groom-to-be viewing the billboard, his proposal, her reaction, her acceptance, and of course, the engagement ring! Afterwards the couple enjoyed a photo shoot to commemorate the spirit and joy of their exciting afternoon. Just a typical day in New York City.
