We are so excited to have this Featured Wedding photographed by Jennifer Lindberg. The Austin Texas couple first met on the 4th of July through mutual friends and didn't run into each other again for several years. Later when they did while out with friends again, they began talking and have been together ever since! The evening they got engaged, the two went to dinner at the place where they first met on the 4th of July, down near Lake Austin. "We walked down by the lake and he proposed on one knee!!! Afterwards he surprised me with all of our family members at the Stephen F. Austin Hotel for drinks and celebration."
From the mother of the bride: Louisa & Brian's dance to "The Power of Love" was fabulous, after which the dance floor was never empty again thanks to Memphis Train Revue ! We had so much fun dancing with friends & especially doing our traditional "family moves" with aunts, uncles, & cousins. The most fun of the evening was surprising Brian, the groom, with a "Happy Birthday" celebration with baskets of lighted sunglasses, bracelets, finger lights & hats being brought out for our guests. Hearing the laughter & seeing smiles all around as we celebrated a joyous time.
My husband and I share so many wonderful memories of our daughter, Louisa's wedding day to Brian! The day & evening happened so quickly that we wish we could go back & experience it all over again - luckily we have Jennifer's beautiful pictures that capture every moment and detail of the entire day! Walking into the church before any guests arrived was so special - to smell the beautiful fresh flowers, see the aisle lined in candles & experience a calming quietness & thankfulness for Louisa, Brian, family, friends & this special day . . . from that moment, time never stood still again.
