A Vermont Winter Wedding {Styled Shoot}

As part of her appreciation, Lis shared the following Â¦ I feel so grateful to have met so many amazing and caring professionals since I moved here to Vermont! It's so nice to see how small business owners are so open to hear each other, and to welcome new professionals. Two weeks ago I announced on Facebook my plans for a winter styled shoot, requesting interested vendors to join the project. In less than 3 minutes after my post, I got several professionals interested in working with me. Jackie Watson from VT Enchanted Events was the first to step in. It was great working with her, and all the other vendors.

My vision for this shoot was, first of all, a winter wedding. It is my first winter in Vermont, and I was dying to capture a beautiful snowy day. Jackie wanted an elegant & royal style. I loved the idea to contrast the elegance against the rustic farm view. That was what inspired me for the shoot. I had the vision for the "sofa shots", and was getting desperate to think I would have to give up on that idea, because I couldn't find an antique sofa anywhere. But when I want something, I'm persistent. Luckily, after all day driving around, I found the perfect piece at a Furniture Consignment Center, as well the rug & side table. Dining table was all designed by Jackie (rentals from Vermont Tent Company), the cake {Snaffel Sweets}, and florals {Creative Muse} translated the contrast we were looking for. JUST BEAUTIFUL!
