Strictly Weddings recognizes high- style floral artistry for weddings when we see it. With hallmarks of unique flower selections, expertly designed arrangements, brilliant attention to exquisite detail, and overall impeccable taste, Cornelia McNamara Flowers and Parties of Chicago, IL is among the finest in floral stylists.

In Laura and Ryan's gorgeous September wedding, Cornelia McNamara's signature trademarks of design work were on full display. Influenced by the rich history of the wedding's environment, the Chicago History Museum, Cornelia McNamara Flowers and Parties delivered an "elegant vintage" aesthetic as requested by the bride and groom. The desired vintage wedding theme perfectly echoed the museum's architectural sophistication and picturesque outdoor event space.

As guests entered, they stepped into a private retreat trimmed in timeless beauty. Loose, garden-inspired floral designs weren't overly manipulated, retaining naturally beautiful qualities. Sweeping garlands of greenery lined aisle-side chairs, dramatic statement pieces atop antiqued urns marked the outdoor ceremonial altar, and more than 70 organic floral collections contained in vintage vessels graced dinner tables. Lush greenery in each design beautifully contrasted the delicate floral, making the gorgeous blooms pop even more.

Cornelia McNamara Flowers and Parties built the wedding palette around neutral hues with just the right amount of blush pink. Bridesmaids' bouquets of fanciful white and pale pink Astilbe enveloped clusters of blush Cymbidium orchids, while the bride's romantic bouquet full of texture featured exquisite garden roses, white Hydrangea, Astilbe, and muted Lamb's Ear.

Though the vintage wedding vibe was certainly conveyed through touches such as mercury glass votives and milk glass and jadeite floral vessels, elegance of the modern-day variety was certainly minded by Cornelia McNamara Flowers and Parties. For example, neutral shantung linens with a shimmering sheen brought a contemporary sophistication to each tablescape and delicate sprigs of greenery punctuated hemstitched napkins.
