We ask, what could possibly be more romantic than a lavish champagne tea, set in one of the most divine flower shops in the world? Brazilian born, London-based floral artist and wedding designer, Zita, created an enchanted setting in her couture flower boutique in Kew Gardens.
The space overflows with luscious flowers and boasts dreamy decorative trees, which evoke a fairytale-like ambience. Once again, we're seeing the trend of bringing in the spirit of the outdoors to enliven a space, and in this case, bringing an air of sweet romance. A canopy of fresh ginster flowers and dried bear grass delicately hanging from one of Zita's signature decorative trees, offers an enchanted scene of whimsical grace.
The fresh flowers are artfully arranged: Zita created bouquets of classic deep burgundy Naomi roses with sophisticated soft trims to the most delicately luxurious posies of crimson spray roses, anemones, astrantia, lilacs, and carnations.
The sumptuous table is layered in rich reds and offset by a fine bead trimmed cloth. Exotic orchids bloom in tiny glass pots, while mixed fresh berries and figs dance with the exquisite cakes and sweet treats by Cakes By Krishanthi. Yum!
Lush red petals, decadent cakes, and fine Champagne amidst the glow of flickering candlelight - we think our friend Zita has mastered the art of invoking romance. Agreed? Here's a toast to forever love.
