From across the pond our UK partner and premier bridal boutique, Knutsford Wedding Gallery, bring us a Pretty in Pink wedding inspiration styled shoot for the untraditional bride. Working with partners Teresa C Photography and Ruby Slippers, the two women owners began shaping their vision by comparing their own personal tastes and preferences.

Teresa, the photographer, is the ultra girly girl loving all things with pink, glitter and sparkle - even though her life revolves around her three boys and spare moments at football games. While the other, Sam, handling hair and makeup is a tomboy and enjoys any sporting event. Plot twist - she has a fierce dislike for pink!

Historic Bed & Breakfast

As they set their planning into motion, they first identified their vendors. They selected the Ashfield House an elegant exclusive wedding and event venue close to the borders of Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside as their location. Their luxury country house has chic interior style that compliments the impressive period features, including an original sweeping staircase, beautiful bay windows, ornate columns and paneled library bar.

Four Stunning Bouquets

High on their list, the designers each shared a desire to work with not one, but two upscale florists. Red Floral came on board to create four stunning bouquets centralized around pink roses and peonies. From a monochromatic color palette to mixtures of ivory, pink hues and lush green these bouquets are nothing but robust.

Flower Power Curtain

The Rose Boutique took on the role of designing an over the top floral curtain for a dramatic backdrop. With hanging single stems of vibrant purple, fuchsia and yellows the curtain becomes a focal point and perfect photo opportunity for the bride.

Knutsford Wedding Gallery Collections

Two jaw dropping wedding gowns from designer Ronald Joyce and La Sposa by Pronovias were worn. They agreed they wanted to see a beautiful, "real and every day" woman as their model. Pairing her with the untraditional mix of high floating balloons and dramatic floral arrangements brought a whimsical touch to the shoot.

A Ronald Joyce Gown

The Rosalind gown by Ronald Joyce was a full tulle ball gown with lace appliques. The front and back has illusion detail and moves into a full princess skirt with soft apricot undertones.

La Sposa by Pronovias Gown

The second gown was Pronovias' Eresa by La Sposa. This blush beauty has a sweetheart neckline that frames a silver gemstone and embroidered bodice accentuated by a drop waist and blush pink full skirt and train.

Shine Through on Your Wedding Day

These designers may not share the same love for pink - but what they do agree upon is that more couples are moving away from traditional styling and color schemes. Brides are looking for techniques and ways to set their dream day a part from the norm and are embracing the idea of letting their inner personalities be reflected into the planning. A refreshing change of pace. You don't want your big day to emulate someone you are not. Their message: "If you are a girly girl who loves pink - embrace it!"
