A fall wedding inspiration spun in nature's gold. Inspired by the changing leaves and rich hues arrives a styled shoot that will invigorate our autumn brides. Event designer Michelle Leo and photographer Pepper Nix stepped outside the box and the result was nothing but cozy magic. Feast your eyes on this nature-inspired gallery and look forward to savoring the season of cooler temperatures and golden beauty.

Golden Color Palette

With its majestic mountains and golden aspens, Utah is bursting with fall delights this season. Michelle immediately knew she wanted to bring in an element that would allow her to utilize the natural gold color palette of the aspen trees surrounding them as their backdrop. She worked with reflective surfaces for her tabletops and a mirrored dining table, pairing them with a matching sofa table from ZGallerie. Pops of color were used in the combination of blossoms and berries for the bouquets by Blooms and Blossoms. Intermixing wildflowers to heighten the appeal of the outdoor shoot.

Textures and Patterns

She married this with a second color palette inspired by a simple fig to offset the richness of the gold hues and play up nature's earth tones. The textures that the outdoors provided complimented the intricate patterns of the place mats and flatware at each place setting of this regal dining table.

Bridal Fashion

Texture was the focal point for the bridal fashion. A carefully selected Modern Trousseau gown was chosen for the bride. The illuminating composition of the wedding gown is pure opulence. Shining in a two-tone ivory satin.

Flowing chiffon Amsale Bridesmaids and Ivy & Aster gowns in mix and match styling graced the maids. Earthy tones of taupe, purple and subtle pinks created a soft and sophisticated effect. The color palette evoked the impending shift in seasons.

Watercolor and Calligraphy

The paper suite stole our hearts. Moira Design Studio produced a custom-made watercolor at the request of Michelle. Beautiful gold calligraphy was used to create the menus, name tags and more. Simple, yet elegant.

Eye Candy

Rather than one cake, Cake-A-Licious brought to the table three individual delectables. The naked cake was adorned with figs and a sugar spun cake invited in an art of metallic gold with white cake to top off the sugary eye candy. Fruit infused champagne with a floral accent offered just the right touch for added color and decadent appeal.
