A wedding of modern elegance graces our page today. When we hear a bride not only describes her wedding as classic with "modern elegance," but also learn she was wearing a Berta Bridal gown and chose Duke Photography to capture her dream day at the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens - well our hearts do cartwheels. White and sparkle is one of our favorite opulent color palettes. Top it off with a combination of vendors known for taking your breath away and you can anticipate a wedding that is irresistible in the best possible way.

Magical Moments

Amanda met the man of her dreams when he was doing business at a company she worked for at the time. They saw each other every day for nearly six months and after one fateful dinner date the dynamic duo became inseparable. Scot proposed to Amanda on a sunset walk on the beaches of Anguilla. A perfectly romantic setting complete with a private dinner on the beach. High on romance, it is no surprise that they planned a wedding day filled with magical photo opportunities.

Berta Bridal Style

Amanda wore a mermaid gown by our premier partner Berta Bridal with a deep V-neckline that had just the right sparkle to make her bridal style dazzle. Scot's first look at his bride-to-be was one of the most emotional moments of the day. Her bridesmaids wore black Nicole Miller gowns that were classic styles with a keyhole back that created a modern contrast to her bridal white and décor elements.

European-Inspired Gardens

They exchanged their vows at "The Mound" at the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens in Miami, Florida. These gardens are European-inspired and are among the most elaborate in the United States. This renowned landscape design is conceived as a series of rooms with a central space dominated by low geometric hedges with an abundance of architectural structures, fountains and antique commissioned sculptures.

Vision of Classic Elegance

After the ceremony guests moved to the reception that was held on the outside terrace overlooking the Biscayne Bay. The Vizcaya house is traditional Mediterranean architecture providing an oasis of silence and green while the terrace is seen from the sea, descending toward the water. Amanda and her maid of honor planned every detail in exquisite taste. With the assistance of Sari Sosa who stepped in for a month, they created a vision of classic elegance with a touch of modernism to match the Vizcaya's natural setting. Elaborate vases of white orchids and roses created by Petal Productions Miami graced the long tables in pristine white vases that complimented the clear acrylic of the tables and chairs. As evening fell upon the surroundings, the soft blue and pink lighting of the Vizcaya house casted a radiant glow and provided the only color to the décor of the day's events.

Pinnacle of Pretty

Our deepest appreciation goes out to this amazing couple, Berta Bridal and Duke Photography who shared this pinnacle of pretty that added sparkle to our day!
