Romance in Ravello
Gina and Raffaele live in Napoli and meet in Carpi in 2008. On a small holiday to Ravello, Raffaele proposed to his dream girl. Falling in love with the romanticism of the town, they chose to marry at the enchanting 900-year-old Duomo di Ravello. Their reception was at an 11th-century palace in the heart of the Amalfi Coast at the Hotel Caruso with sun-drenched terraces, frescoed ceilings and breathtaking views. Aramando Malafronte worked with the couple on bringing luxury and elegance to their décor, not only providing the event design but the magnificent floral displays. He incorporated tall centerpieces adorned with fresh lemons to perfectly match the feel of the summer night with white rose bunches around the base and complimented these with tall glass vases billowing with white and yellow orchids. Our favorite touches were the hundreds of lanterns and rose poms peppered with yellow roses that hung from the trees to add a glow to the already romantic ambience. The Hotel Caruso created three distinctively unique cakes each three tiers in various shapes and tastes for the guests.
