They considered a beach wedding, which seemed perfect, but having a destination wedding out west meant less travel for Brandy's grandmother who officiated their ceremony.

Fairytale Bridal Style
Looking for a storybook gown that would make Brandy feel a princess on her dream day, she fell for a Vera Wang ball gown and complimented her gown with Vera Wang shoes. She polished her bridal style with her something borrowed of her mother's classic pearl necklace, bracelet and earrings. In theme with her desire for a Great Gatsby feel, Brandy opted to wear her hair in a 20s style. She changed into a long beaded roaring twenties gown for the reception and era-period jewelry. Brandy's bridal advice is to take the extra step in hiring a reputable makeup artist and hairstylist for the entire bridal party - and of course, a well know photographer who can make everyone feel at ease.
Blended Family
Brandy and Ricardo's marriage blended a new family. They chose to do a first look that took their wedding day gitters away and allowed them to enjoy the special moments of their dream day. Her favorite moment was her new stepdaughter's reaction and sharing in her tears of joy about marrying her father and how much she had wanted them to become a family.
