Lawless Love

As law students taking similar classes, Jessica and Max immediately noticed one another. An after-finals party during first semester brought the two together for their first date over winter break. Max surprised Jessica with his heart-felt proposal October 2014 at a family celebration to honor Jessica's great grandmother's birthday that she happens to share too. He knew her entire family would be together to celebrate the special occasion and during his toast he presented Jessica with an engagement ring while on bended knee.

Modern Sophistication

They shared the desire of having a quintessential New York City wedding. To achieve the ambiance they envisioned, they secured the Pierre Hotel as their venue. Jessica and Max decided not to use a wedding planner and with the assistance of their mothers and family created a memorable event giving them the flexibility they needed to work with various vendors. They wanted to compliment the style of the luxury hotel and chose an elegant, classic and sophisticated color palette and décor options. Sunshine Flower Shoppe used shades of ivory, white and light pastel blooms in robust floral arrangements. They focused on this color palette for their theme throughout the ceremony and reception décor. To create the perfect balance between modern and classic, stunning geometric crystal candelabras were placed along the wedding aisle accented by small floral poms and tall branching floral arrangements. At the end of the aisle a chuppah embellished with draping crystals, white orchids and ivory roses greeted the couple. Tall candelabras were also used as the base of larger floral creations throughout a glowing reception that takes our breath away. Internationally celebrated Sylvia Weinstock created a spellbinding work of art that took center stage.

Fairytale First Look

Adagion Studio created the fairytale moment of the day with the couple's first look that took place in Central Park. He had Max stand looking toward the water while Jessica approached and tapped his shoulder when she arrived. She wore an Austin Scarlett gown she fell for at Bergdorf Goodman Bridal Salon while her bridesmaids wore dazzling Adrianna Papell dresses. The moment was captured beautifully. It was one of the few times throughout the day that Jessica and Max found truly intimate. Their first look allowed for them to take in the happiness and bliss of the momentous occasion without any distractions and is a time they will cherish forever.
