A dose of Venice wedding inspiration will help the romantic at heart prior to the day of love we call Valentine's Day. For destination brides, this styled shoot with Snowdrops Wedding and Events perfectly showcases the elegance of this Italian city known for its water streets where gondolas glide through pale aqua canals and majestic architecture reigns. Italy is made for lovers and Elisa D'Inca Photographer perfectly illustrates the romance through her lens capturing the pure dreaminess. With every gorgeous wedding detail provided by Italian vendors, their artisanal touches bring this inspiration to life. Visions of timeless beauty, romantic elopements, unforgettable honeymoons and memories that will never fade are all part of what make Venice the perfect destination for a love struck couple.

Elegance and Intricacy

The backdrop for the styled shoot is the stunning Hotel Ca' Sagredo, one of Venice oldest and most prestigious Palazzos nestled along the Canal Grande and minutes away from the Rialto Bridge. The elegance and the intricacy of the Hotel Ca'Sagredo's decor speaks volumes to the glorious past of this city. Snowdrops Wedding and Events selected an intense shade of Bordeaux complimented by delicate peach, blush, pink and ivory shades for the color palette.

Two Looks: One Bride

They gave their bride two looks with a breathtaking ceremony gown and bridal style and a more relaxed look for the reception. Both have a subtle element of sensuality. Francesca Zarabara created the first look, with an intense lip and a delicate make up on the eyes, underlined by peachy tones on the eyebrows, and a second look with Bordeaux smoky-eyes, while the lips were kept nude. Daniela Grava of Il Pettine executed a very sophisticated up-do in the shape of a rose, to then transition to loose, voluminous hair. The bride wears an ethereal gown made of layers and layers of pure silk, embellished by antique decorations on the waist, designed and beautifully handcrafted by Viola Per Sempre. The heart shaped neckline adds a touch of extreme femininity.

Dreamy Décor

The stunning bridal bouquet and stylish arrangement for the table were provided by La Dogaressa, one of the oldest and most noted florists in Venice. We loved how they used a variety of precious and unusual flowers for this shoot. For the table setting, they coupled antique gold decorated porcelain plates, provided by Marisa Bedana, with transparent-gold plates and colorful napkins for a more modern twist. Food is a very important element of an Italian wedding therefore, they showcased a luxuriously decadent ice cream dessert table. Next to the ice cream, delicate favor boxes, designed by Partecipazioni in Karta along with the paper suite and beautiful, yet simplistic stationery.
