It doesn't take much for a wedding to be pretty when it takes place against Utah's naturally beautiful backdrop at St Regis Deer Valley. But add a lace dress from Augusta Jones, a striking black and white color palette and the artistic talent of photographer Pepper Nix then the wedding is going to be breathtaking. Bluebird Event Destination Management knocked it out of the park with their over the top design and execution visible in every detail - from the hanging votive candles and chandeliers to the romantic florals by Decoration, Inc.
Utah's Natural Beauty
For Parilee and Michael, their passion for the outdoors needed to be captured in the elegance of their wedding day. They wanted the feeling of being outside and part of the landscape to an active ingredient in their day - and Bluebird Event Destination Management delivered. A striking black and white color palette carried through the décor elements of the ceremony and reception which perfectly complimented the chic natural woods used embracing nature's own colors. Stylish would be an understatement. The ceremony boasted dark wood chairs for the 180 guests who could keep cool with the fans found on each seat. The aisle was lined with low boxed planters filled with robust hydrangeas, greenery and the palest of pink roses. The Chinese seal - Yong Jie Tong Xin - was an image that was repeated throughout the event. It means "two hearts, entwined forever" and is also the seal that Michael's parents used at their wedding. For the reception, navy was introduced with bold linens on the tables and the chair covers. The contrast with black rental furniture created a masculine yet classy look accented by the romance of hundreds of hanging votive candles above the tables, sphere chandeliers and tall hurricanes on the tables. Greenery filled the terraces to bring the outdoors inside.
Pepper Nix always delivers dazzling weddings, but this black and white soiree is certainly one the most contemporary and chic days any couple proclaiming their passion for the outdoors could dream of and bravo to Bluebird Event Destination Management!
