An outdoor wedding in California showcases an all white color palette and the beautiful summer feel of the Bacara Resort and Spa bringing us modern elegance and pictures to prove thanks to Duke Photography. Let's just say that when we see a wedding that has Fancy That Events and Tic-Tock Florals joining forces, we know it's going to be a showstopper. Add to that a bride wearing an unforgettable Berta gown and you have a production that is knock out gorgeous.

Modern Elegance

For Maira and Jesse who met at a friend's birthday party and got engaged the day before Valentine's Day, their passion for "everything fancy" came to the forefront as they planned their dream day. The chose the Bacara Resort and Spa in Santa Barbara as their venue as it boasts 78 acres of pure romance and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Their ceremony was on The Bluff lawn where Fancy That Events and Tic-Tock Florals started the magic of the décor for the festivities. Maira wanted an all white wedding day, with the sense of modern elegance shine through every detail. They married under a white draped canopy with the splendor of orchids adding fresh lush blooms to the top and tie-backs. Complimenting the focal point of the ceremony were robust arrangements and uber chic glass pedestals with petals gracing the aisle for Maira's grand entrance. And grand it was!

Statement Bridal Style

Maira chose a statement gown by renowned designer Berta Bridal. Hugging every curve and with a dramatic front and back this mermaid silhouette is jaw dropping. She had custom made dresses created for each of her five bridemaids in a soft champagne to stand out in subtle beauty against the unadulterated white décor.

Golden Touches

For the reception, the team incorporated touches of gold into the Rotunda Ballroom with a fabulous outdoor terrace with an al fesco space that dazzles the natural starlight at dusk. Gold chairs and chargers with a gold seating chart draped in orchids polished the room and tied the décor together with a modern edge. The Butter End Cakery created a tiered all white masterpiece as the icing on the cake for this gorgeous affair! But at the end of the day, the most special moments for Maira and Jesse were made because of the choice not to see or talk to one another until the ceremony. This made the rest of the day and the first time they saw each other - during the life changing walk down the aisle - that much more memorable.
