Imagine an intimate destination wedding in Rome with world renowned designer Anna Venturini Fendi! Well, today you can more than imagine, as we are going to transport you to a setting that is down right gorgeous - thanks to Rosapaola Lucibelli Photography. It is her vision of a classic Catholic intimate wedding in Roncigline, a medieval village between Rome and Viterbo where the interior décor has been carefully curated by Anna Fendi. Fendi defines herself as a true "artisan of fashion" and suggested that the mood of this shoot be of "Italian Style," made of passion and attention to the craft of art itself.
In Rome with Fendi
As the owner of "La Taverna della Canonica," Fendi's Bed and Breakfast was chosen for its architectural features and her unique décor styling. The careful attention that was placed in defining every single detail of the Villa is immediately evident and leaves you in awe. The magic of this location is definitely the tiny church of the 1500s, in which it's still possible to celebrate catholic weddings today, decorated and furnished with ancient and sacred objects. The village is a famous stop on the Via Francigena, the road still followed today by pilgrims travelling to Rome to visit the tomb of St. Peter. The whole Villa is full of precious details curated directly by Fendi as the stylist: the garden is furnished in art deco and the rooms of the B&B are full of sharp contrasts between antique and modern style. In the adjacent tavern it's possible to taste fine wines produced by Fendi while also enjoying typical meals of those lands. The rooms are furnished with a unique and elegant taste and they are definitely works of art.
Intimate Destination Wedding
The main color of the shoot is bright green along with romantic pink. The "mise en place" and the coordinated elements are designed by the stylist who chose romantic table clothes for the outdoor dining area all in lace accompanied by elegant glasses in pewter with green speckled dishes: all this creates an interesting vintage style. The outdoor flower decorations on the tables are elegant and classic low compositions, made of pink peonies and hydrangeas that contrast and enhance the details of the table settings crafted by Fiori Amore E Fantasia. For the "mise en place" under the pergola you can find tall stemmed vases in wrought iron designed by Fendi, full of leaves made of steel grass along with pink peonies and white hydrangeas. The decorations in the church highlight the two "medicei" vases near to the altar where beautiful white hydrangeas and lisianthus blossoms are placed gently hanging. All inspired by a Renaissance style, the floral design by Viviana Piccolomini of Fiori Amore E Fantasia adorned the 1500s ebony railings with wreaths of ivy enriched by roses and peonies.
