If you don't know about the LUXE Launch, it happens to be one of the industry's most anticipated events as it serves as a trend setting and networking function for the crème de la crème of top planners and designers. Each designer pairs up with a florist of their choice to create a tabletop and theme they envision utilizing one of Luxe Linens new collection from their linens and napkins. In a three-part series, we get to feature some of our top favorites beginning with Bluebell Events and Mark's Garden Bohemian Gypsy Princess design. One thing we know for certain is that when a talented team of vendors come together for a day of inspiration - it will be nothing short of magical! Modern Bohemian Wedding
Bluebell Events' Charley King always begins her design process with a story that builds in her head. When she received the swatch of the Gold Metallique linen, she thought of a Bohemian Princess. The swatch looked regal to her with beautiful gold flecks, but also she felt it had a woodland feel to it within the pattern. Her princess she saw running away from a castle not wanting to marry the man her father insisted. Instead, the princess had fallen in love with a gypsy she met while wandering the castle woods. This was the woodland Gypsy Princess' wedding that she dreamed about. The beautiful teepee from Revelry Event Designers accented the linen to perfection, acting as an extension of the tabletop.
Bohemian Wedding Ideas
Mark's Garden grew the idea from there with fresh picked garden floral in bright boho colors and mixed metal vessels. Brass and glass candle sticks harmonized the look along with mixed textures of furs, feathers and ribbons. Dish Wish heightened the romance with a blend of gold rimmed china and pink glass charges. Varying colors of water and wine glasses capitalize on the free-spirit the tablescape conveys. As an ode to the princess' love for finer things too, champagne cups in crystal were included. Occasion to Celebrate designed individual boho sayings and poems that sung to the theme and showcased mini dreamcatchers for the place cards. The most unexpected element was the mixture of textures found within the wood, fur, feather, leather, lace, brass, gold, ribbons, tassel and even jewelry! The Bohemian Gypsy Princess tablescape certainly touched the senses for all those in attendance, beautifully showcasing Luxe Linens new Gold Metallique linen and Biscuit Va Va Voom and Rose Quartz Va Va Voom napkins.
