A Magical Proposal
Elise and Chad met at a going away party Elise was hosting for a friend. She was to be set up by another friend and her fiancé who were also coming to the party and bringing a plus one. Elise wasn't interested. Lucky for her, Elise's friend brought Chad anyway as the moment they met they had always been on the "same page." Even during Chad's proposal Elise pre-emptied him with a magical "Yes, please!" And when we say magical - we mean Disneyland magic. Chad set up an entire scavenger hunt at the happiest place on earth for Elise with the last stop at Snow White's Wishing Well where he was awaiting her on one knee. Collective awe moment here!
Princess Bridal Style
What better way for a modern day princess to marry then in a customized Hayley Paige gown? Elise fell in love with Hayley Paige's Keaton gown and all the bling of the crystal bling straps of Carrie. Elise had worked at Alta Moda Bridal and being from the industry this helped in creating her whole dream day. Seamstress Jen Jackson shaped the perfect Cinderella look for her with the goal to be comfortable and glamorous. Her eight bridesmaids wore Alfred Sung dresses in a beautiful rich platinum gray. Elise says that her bridal squad saved her life throughout the entire planning process as well as looking exceptional by her side on her dream day. One Sweet Slice modeled the masterpiece cake after her remarkable gown. The bottom boasting ruffles similar to the bottom part of her mermaid gown with two layers of silver beads and the other two layers in smooth white fondant.
Temple Wedding in Salt Lake City
Since, Elise and Chad were marrying at the LDS Temple, the first time he would see her in her wedding dress would have been right before she came out to the crowd. Thinking there would be no way to capture that first glimpse, they shared special time at her parent's in their beautiful front yard, this way Chad got a sneak peek. Needless to say it was a priceless moment for these two. Their reception was held at Utah's State Capital. What an amazing and impressive choice. For Chad and Elise, this was the ideal location and felt very authentic to them, in line with their classic theme.
