High atop the mountain of Haleakala on the beautiful island of Maui is Ka Hale Olinda. A charming renovated 1908 Hawaiian plantation house and estate with country pastures and views to the Pacific Ocean. The sweet smell of eucalyptus waft through the air as the native song birds chirp away. Occasionally, you can even hear a faint sound of an owl in a tree nearby. The gorgeous Comphor tree that is over 100-years-old is amazing and adds the perfect backdrop for this beautiful couple and their adorable daughters. The couple wed back on August 11, 2012 and this shoot was the chance to relive the romance and capture their love and commitment to each other all over again complete a dessert table brimming with homemade pies and cupcakes by Cakecup. This certainly is the essence of vintage, rustic country charm island style.
