Take a storybook classic like The Jungle Book, add a beautiful bride with more flowers in her hair than the standard bouquet and you have a wedding theme that incorporates more than "the bare necessities" and commands our undivided attention. This Jungle Book wedding inspiration is over-the-top detail-oriented with a focus on traditional Indian elements like elephants and hand-woven pieces. From the mesmerizing landscape of palms and vibrant wild flowers arranged by Oudalova Events and Design, to Finespun Cakes' delicate henna design on the cake, there is so much eye candy in this Jungle Book wedding inspiration theme by Gina Humilde Distinct Occasions that we can't help but feel like we are traveling deep into the jungles of India thanks to the imagery of Angelina Aristodemo. This exotic scene is simply made for avant-garde brides all over the world.

Jungle Book Wedding Inspiration

This shoot was mainly inspired by the lush jungles and rainforests from Ontario photographer Angelina Aristodemo's travels and the growing multicultural diversity of the many couples she has had the pleasure of working with. What a perfect way to bring these elements together than with the overlying theme of the of Jungle Book and all the wonders this story delivered to us as children filling our imaginations with wonder and beauty. With the newer, more adult-friendly version of the movie out, darker and more vibrant colors began to emerge in the elements with a South East Asian flare. Many don't know that the original Jungle Book was based in a village in India, so this became a deeply rooted theme in the design. One of the biggest questions she wanted to ask with this shoot was, do we have to be natives to be able to wear saris or lenghas? They are beautiful pieces of art in themselves and look incredible on every ethnicity of bride. It was the combined efforts of all vendors involved that brought this concept to life. Thanks to the combined efforts of Oudalova Events and Design and Darryl Exelby from XLB Palm Trees for the exotic backdrop and decorative pieces that made this inspiration shoot as iconic as the story itself.
