Sand dunes, natural succulents and blue skies - it is no wonder desert chic weddings are on the rise for couples to exchange their vows. Case in point this fabulous navy, pink and gold desert gem of Jamie and Louis at the Sanctuary Resort in Paradise Valley that was so beautifully captured by Amy and Jordan Photography. It really shouldn't come as too much of a surprise that this desert chic wedding grabbed our attention. With a bride wearing Romona Keveza, planner Some Like It Classic at the helm and florals by Petal Pusher you know it is going to turn up the heat.
Perhaps it is the minimalist nature of the desert's own natural beauty that is so enthralling. With a clean and crisp environment, the desert doesn't require much to amp up the charm or romance when thinking about the décor for a wedding day. Although, Jamie and Louis' breathtaking reception was anything but simple. And the details seem to just perfectly compliment hues found within the desert. Take the soft subtlety of the blush pink use and how Amy and Jordan perfectly captured the same tone within the cacti. Or how the sizzling blue sequin of La Travola's linens remind you of the desert skies at nightfall. Of course, no Arizona wedding would be complete without the usage of succulents in the floral arrangements - so we are just thrilled with these low table arrangements by Petal Pusher. And don't get us started on Classic Cakes and Confections four-tier creation that is simplistic, yet contemporary in design with its striped base and pink sugary petals on top. When thinking about the "where" for tying the knot - this desert chic wedding certainly may have you rethinking location, location, location. We don't think this region with its picturesque lands and natural vegetation are going to be just a passing trend.
