Hidden gems are totally our thing. Be it bridal designers, emerging trends or venues that make you see them in a whole new way. Take this editorial that showcases a navy colored wedding theme highlighting greenery at the Richard Nixon Library and Museum. An esteemed venue tucked away in the hills of Orange County. Three16 Photography and JenEvents are the masterminds behind this vision, complete with a floating boat that Flower Allie used to beautifully showcase the use of greenery, the color of the year with white roses. The entire moment reminds one of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington D.C. Add to that Richard Nixon's career in the Navy and this editorial brings together a whole new refined sophistication.

Navy Colored Wedding Theme Highlighting Greenery

Three16 Photography was first inspired with the venue when shooting a recent wedding. Playing off Nixon's time in the Navy, they created a color scheme that incorporated the blues of the ocean and blended it seamlessly with greenery. Flower Allie designed a classic but modern centerpiece for the tablescape using Cherished Rentals stunning patterns from their Al Fresco and Luna Collection. The plates were all complimented by her mid-century gold flatware and emerald pressed glassware from their Gemstone Glassware Collection. Classic Party Rentals' two tone fold fanfare chairs with suede blue cushions matched the room perfectly. They also provided the linen and napkins from their Lamour collection to complete the tablescape. Chasing Linen created a beautiful invitation suite and escort cards that embraced the colors of the ocean. With the playful but classic feel of the watercolor wash, the papergoods set the stage for the theme. Elise Cakes designed a gorgeous three tiered cake that included a watercolor effect, perfectly wrapped rope, and a sailor's knot that delectably tied the Navy theme together. A wedding day shoot is never complete without a bride and groom. The bride of the day was given a classic look accentuating her natural beauty. She wore a Pronovias Tais gown provided by Mon Amie Bridal. See how the day unfolds in the magnificent video too.
