French Chateau Garden Philadelphia Wedding

While this was not a destination wedding, Lana and Alex picked the venue for its beautiful ballroom. The tall ceilings and white molding along the walls reminded them of a French summer home with the large windows and views of Philadelphia giving it an open-air feel. Lana knew, without a doubt she wanted to channel the timeless fashion of icons like Jacqueline Kennedy and Audrey Hepburn. Bold dress with makeup and hair simple but elegant. When she saw Sophia Vergara marry in a gown with detachable train providing two separate looks: both ball gown and a fitted mermaid this was what she envisioned for herself. It just happened that Mon Cheri's bridal designer Sophia Tolli had the same dress coming out in her Spring line. That was the one. The theme for their wedding was "French chateau garden" playing off the white walls and molding to make the space feel outdoors. With a soft color palette of white, soft peaches and pink combined with a lot of greenery to present the faux-garden feel found throughout the chuppah and reception. Fortune Flowers to made each centerpiece look like a mini tree full of flowers in bloom. The centerpieces were full of three different types of roses, hydrangeas and other smaller white flowers as well as with robust greenery cascading down at the base. The base holding the centerpieces was made with twigs wrapped with green garland and some roses for that outdoor feel. For this French Chateau garden Philadelphia wedding the chuppah with the cake taking center stage ended up providing an impromptu staging area for guests to capture memorable photos.
