The Gorrono Ranch - Telluride Ski Resort, nestled into the San Juan mountains and known for its beer stops during ski season, was quite literally transformed into a quaint rustic chapel setting for Jenny and Hart. Simplify Telluride and the florist (the bride's best friend) created a natural and easy vibe matching the quintessential feel of this ski resort. Mother Nature even played into the scene as an eagle flew over the ceremony and elk grazed in the hills.
Intimate Telluride Destination Wedding with Mountain Views
Being a Memphis girl, Jenny always thought she would marry in her home church. Best laid plans, as once she and Hart were engaged that vision morphed into mountain top fairytales. Saying their "I Do's" under the Colorado skies where they met. Much to her surprise not only her family, but friends were all about the idea of a vacation in God's land to celebrate the union. The theme was easy. One inspired by the drama of the views with soft greenery, snowy white and blush florals. Her bridesmaids wore romantic sage green dresses as she stepped out in a romantic, vintage feeling Claire Pettibone gown. The ceremony was simply, with the mountain top lending their views as the backdrop. None the less is was a beautiful statement with a garland draped cross. For the reception, tablescapes played an important role overflowing with blush and white flowers and hundreds of tea lights. Hydrangeas, roses, tulips, peonies, mixed with soft greenery filled the room with elegance. Eucalyptus and hydrangeas draped down from the chandeliers over dinner and the dance floor - all complimenting the rustic feel of the ski lodge. What better way to cap off the festivities with a dose of Fireball, corn hole and fire pit chats.
