I am Eve the only designer for all three collections within the Eve of Milady brand, which includes our Amalia Carrara, Couture and Boutique labels. There are so many reasons I am excited to launch the Spring 2019 collection for brides who will try on these new designs and choose to wear an Eve of Milady gown on her wedding day. But first, it is important to know a little bit about my process. When designing the gown, each lace is created for the specific style and then the intricate beading takes place. As many as 700 hours can go into one gown due to them being hand sewn. I look toward designing a uniquely special gown in each style, capturing the romance that should exude from each piece. As a designer, it brings me utter joy and pleasure as well as pride to think that an Eve of Milady gown will be part of a bride's special day.

The experience of wearing an Eve of Milady gown goes beyond just the design work. My team and I work passionately with our authorized retailers on a global scale. We connect with each of the salons to answer any questions they may have about the brand and possible modifications of the designs. Be it a bride's desire to make a custom alteration or slight change in design or special timing needs for their wedding day. We don't take these matters lightly as we know how important it is to answer all questions. That is why our retailers are able to have contact after hours and the weekends to receive the necessary answers. I understand how stressful this time in a bride's life can be and want the retailers to be able to give you the answers when they are with their consultants. This is the level of service our orders expect. We understand that shopping for your wedding dress can be an emotional journey. It's about how you see yourself as a bride. An important element is in understanding what silhouettes are right for your build. Keep in mind everyone is different. I like to believe, that the fit of my gown designs is my special gift for my brides. When I create a gown, it can be worn by a size 2 or 24. I ensure that the fit will highlight all the positives of a woman's figure. We encourage brides-to-be to visit a boutique that offers a full service. The consultants or managers are empowered with the knowledge about our gown fabrics and changes that can be made. For instance, if you desire a slimmer look on an A-line gown it's as simple as removing the tulle underneath or if you would like the skirt to be fuller adding tulle or a wired slip will accomplish this. Additionally, consultants will point out the design elements of each design ranging from the fabrics and laces, to the silhouettes guiding you toward the alterations that need to be made for the perfect fit to your body. During your appointment, your consultant will help you to decide what type of bustle would be best to display your train as well as assist in selecting a veil to compliment your gown and any accessories to polish your complete style. They are your go-to expert, the person who will help you with your gown needs every step of the way.
