We certainly have seen our fair share of this west coast dream wedding venue and we must say it never disappoints. The stately Pelican Hill Resort offers ever present ocean views that serve as a magnificent backdrop to a lavish wedding ceremony under the rotunda. Makenzie and Andrew certainly saw this opportunity. But they took it a step further by enlisting some of California's top names to help execute their fairytale. With Planning Intertwined Events at the helm, Flowers By Cina, Chameleon Chair Collection, Revelry Event Design - to name just a few who were part of this elegant day. Brandon Kidd Photography captured every ounce of romance and some pretty unforgettable moments between the bride and her dad. Fair warning, grab a tissue - their first look had us all the way to their remarkable first dance that left us smiling.
West Coast Dream Wedding Venue
From start to finish, Makenzie and Andrew personalized their wedding day with details to not only to complement their love for each other, but to also complement their love towards their family and friends. The day started with personalized wifey shoes, matching bridesmaids outfits and a customized gift that was sent to the grooms room. Shortly after, Mckenzie and Andrew were off to their first look! They believed this time was more meaningful and the perfect place to share their vows for the very first time. With their "his vows" and "her vows" books in hand, they shared their promises to one another just between the two of them. The ceremony space was filled with blush and white florals that balanced the Pelican Hill rotunda to perfection. And the reception space only became more luxurious and glamorous. After the ceremony, guests were guided to their seat with a little bottle of champagne, where the true party was just about to begin! The chandelier that hung over their monogrammed dance floor was adorned with an abundance of florals creating the focal point of the night! With Andrew's family being a part of the paper industry, the paper goods were also a big focal point. From a hand drawn map, to a custom ombre watercolor design, to a monogram that made its mark throughout the night on the details, they didn't miss a beat. If that wasn't enough to lead their guest to the dance floor, Mackenzie and her father kicked off the night with the most adorable choreographed father-daughter dance that they kept a secret from everyone, including the groom. Guests then made their way to the dance floor, dancing and singing the night away with JB Project from West Coast Music. The beautiful Pelican Hill Resort is a west coast dream wedding venue to get married at and sure enough, this day was nothing less than a fairytale for the lovely couple.
