The Gable Hill Barn played host as the exquisite rustic backdrop. The barn's interior was everything this team was searching for offering a modern feeling to the country chic vibe. Rafters for ceiling drapes and chandeliers may top the list when it comes to simple ways to up the barn wedding venue to elegantly chic. Immediately the elegant chandeliers, warm jar lights climbing the walls and the billowing white fabric add a whimsical and romantic aesthetic to the scene. Colors of blush and sage were selected to compliment the wedding venue's ceiling drapery exceptionally well. This color palette has a ethereal feel and is one any bride can recreate for her own wedding day. For bride's leaning toward a light and airy feeling this color combination is perfect adding a bump of color to a neutral palette. Vintage items add to the overall charm. Incorporating vintage furniture into a lounge space creates an inviting conversation are for guests. Instead of dressing down tables, choosing vintage china and glassware with help present another layer of refinement. A selection of hydrangeas, peonies, and roses were used in the floral. The combination is timeless and romantic, but most importantly though one that can be recreated. And, of course, the pièce de résistance is the dessert table where a beautiful blush cake takes center stage amongst other barn theme goodies like cookies, brownies, pudding cups, tarts, cream puffs, and - yes good ol' American pie.
