Better known as the Hawkeye state, Iowa has a reputation for its friendliness, comfort food and love of nature. Situated between multiple rivers the state offers couples and assortment of options when it comes to venues. Marrying at the top of August as the summer heat rolls out and the clean crisper fall air starts to peak created a picturesque day for Elizabeth and Benjamin. Their boho inspired Iowa wedding with family touches became a field of dreams. Elizabeth stepped out in a pared down Allure gown from Hope's Bridal with a simple silhouette and detailing that was all about texture and versatility. Her eight bridesmaids wore mix and match dresses in a dusty blue that blended with the hand held pastel bouquets. A medley of white, soft petal pink and eucalyptus leaves tied the soft romantic and bohemian vibe all together. The floral combination continued through a large spray over the custom-built eternity ring offsetting the dark woods and bringing in an organic feel. Strong oak barrels capped with floral soft arrangements topped the grassy aisle way to the staging. Guests sat on matching wood benches as Elizabeth and Benjamin exchanged their vows overlooking the pond. The time investment on creating the custom ceremony area pumped up the love level for us and we simply cannot get enough of their boho inspired Iowa wedding with family touches.
