Ashley and Matt were simply enjoying life and following their dreams when they met at Matt's sports bar in New York. During football season, Ashley and her friends would pop by the "Bench," Matt's bar to watch the game and they soon found themselves on a first date. During the San Gennaro Festival their hearts made an instant click. Since then, this fabulous couple have been inseparable and share many similar passions like traveling, shoes, and spending time with their New York and California families. Together they have developed many new passions. For one, they have become quite the "foodies" and love trying new restaurants specially pizza joints for Matt and Mexican food for Ashley. The biggest obstacle in planning their elegant destination beach wedding in Mexico was trying to decide on a location for their families who live on opposite coasts to attend. They decided to go south of the border because of their love of travel. The most memorable moment was when Ashley's father and mother walked her down the aisle. Most of Ashley's family as unable to attend, however they were able to watch Ashley and Matt exchange their vows through a Facebook live.
