Art Deco Australian Wedding
The heartfelt wedding focused on classic and geometric accents, creating the perfect Art Deco vibe. The bridesmaids dresses were chose early on, and that pale pink was later incorporated throughout the wedding, along with gold. The color scheme was made all the more beautiful by the stunning New York loft style layout of Panama Dining Room. The greenery and big arch windows just framed everything perfectly.
The couple landed on the venue as the city captures everything they love about Melbourne from industrial buildings, eateries, and street art. Having a place where they could have their ceremony and reception all in once place was important to them. The loved Panama and its elegant meets informal NYC vibe.
The art deco vibe was carried through to the table settings, with plain white table clothes and napkins. Gold mirrored table numbers offset the place cards, glasses and flowers so well. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, the couple opted for a cheese wheel stacked cake. The pair loves cheese and thought their guests might appreciate some savory deliciousness after their desserts. What a fun touch!
