Your wedding is your chance to show the world who you are.
So, if glitz and glamour just isn’t your thing, head out into the great outdoors. Own it, and do something completely different.
We can’t think of a better way to impress than by bringing the spectacle of nature into your ceremony’s signature style. You could choose a forest, field, beach, island, or even a desert, your favourite local spot, or travel to somewhere that captures your imagination.
The world really is your oyster.
These wedding designers took the natural theme, and totally made it their own. They wanted to blend together two natural elements that contradicted each other, in order to create a modern take on a natural outdoor wedding.
And what natural elements say ‘polar opposite’ more than "tropical" and "desert"?
These folks put together a shoot with the aim of showcasing how unique and chic Las Vegas Weddings can be. They put a bold twist on what you’d typically expect from a wedding in Vegas - no Elvis in sight, and about as far from cookie cutter as you can get.
The theme was an island picnic, with bold tropical colours and fun-filled features, situated in the dramatic Las Vegas desert.
In fact, the clever choice of empty location was intentional - the El Dorado Dry Lake Bed is a completely blank slate, perfect for bringing any vision (no matter how out-there) to life.
They put the utmost care into ensuring that every single detail of this shoot - from the socks of the male model to the tropical pillows that brought the tablescape together - was on-theme.
They hired some seriously cool vendors for the event, including a live wedding painter, a champagne tuk tuk, handcrafted popsicles, and a luxury picnic setup, just to name a few.
The ceremony setup was very luxe, which provided a beautiful contrast against the brown cracked earth of the lake bed. With lush overflowing florals and glistening copper accents on modern ghost chairs, this was a completely stand-out affair.
As for the wedding dress, it was the newest dress in the Vow'd Weddings collection, titled Whimsical. In fact, this was the first time that it was ever photographed. The gown features intricate details and delicate layers of chiffon.
If monochrome doesn’t fit your vibe, this bold, characterful ceremony will certainly provide some pretty awesome ceremony inspo.
