The countryside has never looked so glamorous.

Luxury weddings don’t have to be located in a high-end venue - the great outdoors is a beautiful blank canvas and, with talented vendors behind you, your outdoor wedding decor can showcase sophistication worthy of the Waldorf.

This mesmerising styled shoot took over Riven Rock Ranch, transforming this rustic location into a modern, elegant space.

The quaintness of the location gives wedding guests the feeling of complete privacy. Such tranquility and isolation creates the sensation that this place was created just for them and these moments.

The designers wanted to create a soft, romantic feel to this hill country wedding. They used delicate design touches, which kept the whole affair elegantly understated. Alongside these traditional elements (the traditional and unconventional were beautifully blended here), there were a number of heartwarming personal touches - the couple’s dog’s tuxedo being our personal favourite.

The decor was united in a soft, pastel colour palette, with varying shades of pale pinks and creams. This was a highly effective way of limiting any potential clash between the ceremony and the natural landscape. With these subtle touches, the two sat alongside each other artfully.

In fact, nature played a fundamental role in the occasion. We adore the planner’s use of antique chairs and tables in little outdoor seating areas. This gave little couples or groups the chance to take a seat and take a little moment to themselves, just to soak it all in.

The outdoor standing tables were cleverly designed to be completely covered with long fabric, tied with a draping cream sash. This gave the tables a billowing effect, which felt luxurious without being overstating, perfectly balancing luxury with the sense of effortlessness which was so present in this day’s decor.

The views of this location were absolutely sensational. Using the large, isolated tree as the point where the couple said their vows was an especially striking choice.

The drama of the surrounding forest was further enhanced by the use of boundless lush, dreamy florals and greenery. There was no start or end to nature here, which is what made the occasion so particularly magical.

One of the main pieces of advice, which these planners say allowed them to create such a successful shoot, was the use of high-end vendors. This brought an invaluable amount of class and style to the design.

They really took their time putting this occasion together - the setup and shoot lasted a whole 13 hours, as this absolutely made sure that they got the perfect lighting for each and every aspect of the day.

And the end result shows that all this attention to detail really paid off. In fact, if you were thinking ‘Gosh, this model couple really look convincing’, that’s because they actually are a real married couple. This made this particular occasion the most "real" styled shoot that many of the vendors had ever been a part of.
