Catalina Island is only an hour ferry ride from the mainland, yet it feels like you are in another country. I’m not sure how I’ve lived my whole life in California and never been here! This sweet little town has so much character, and most people get around by golf cart. Miranda and Corey chose to have their little destination wedding here after they made so many fun memories on Catalina Island while they were dating.

The Hotel Atwater literally looks straight out of a greek island, and it’s where Miranda + Corey had their first look. Miranda took the long flight of terra-cotta stairs down to Corey and they spent a moment alone taking in the views. Then we traveled by golf car with the wedding party (so cute!!) to the ceremony site at Descanso Beach Club. I loved the tropical elements that were integrated in the decor, all styled by XOXO weddings!

Corey and his groomsmen are all in a band called Redneck Rodeo and they had the COOLEST matching distressed vests. These guys were a total blast and obviously took a few joy rides in the golf course before the reception. Descanso Beach Club had an incredible display of food, and guests partied the night away surrounded by the lights of the harbor!
