Amy + Chad met on CatholicMatch during the beginning of the pandemic, and it was entirely long distance. He was in Chicago, and she was in Ann Arbor. Amy says that their relationship grew stronger because of it!
They both had a history of going to Mackinac Island during the summer and it was Amy's dream to get married there. All of these doors opened to make that a reality in 4 short months!
Amy + Chad wanted an elegant and timeless wedding. Supported by 8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen they held their ceremony at St. Anne's Catholic Church, a historic and picturesque church in downtown Mackinac Island. After a romantic carriage ride, they headed to their reception at Mission Point Resort's Cypress Room.
Some of their must-have shots were at the iconic Grand Hotel, as well and some near the lake. (It's an island after all!)
The gray fall skies made for beautiful lighting, and the jewel-tone bouquets and cozy stoles gave this wedding a very fall feel!
