Claire and Aaron used to live in Colorado, but moved back to Michigan. They love Colorado and still wanted to have their wedding there. They decided to have a little wedding in the San Juans, a place they'd never visited in the state. The date they chose was at the peak of the changing fall colours and had golden aspens all around them. They began their day close to Ouray, where they did a first look and said their vows privately. They didn't want to say their vows in front of their family, as they thought it was too intimate for their liking, so they saved a different set of vows for their ceremony with them. After that, they drove over to Telluride where they went on a short hike to a little waterfall near town. By the time they were done with hiking, it was time to meet their family for a little ceremony by a lake at the base of mountain peaks. They said general vows and tied the knot (literally) with Claire's brother officiating them. Champagne was popped to celebrate and passed hug all around to their loved ones.
