I am an award winning wedding, portrait, commercial and events photographer based in Dumfries, South West Scotland. Primarily my focus is on wedding photography.
I did have a previous full-time career but photography has always a big part of my life - I love creating images but my real passion is for people.
When the opportunity presented itself I fully immersed myself in my new career 8 year ago and strived to deliver the best possible service to my clients.
Now today I sit with a thriving photography business, the recipient of several awards, and my own office premises and fully functional studio here in Dumfries, and regularly working across the UK.
Every day I am inspired by the many fascinating people that I meet through my work. To have a little insight into people’s lives and to be trusted with capturing precious memories from their lives is an incredible privilege and lots of fun!
I know being in front of the camera isn’t easy, (I hate having my photo taken) so when I’m with my clients I keep things nice and relaxed. No awkward poses or unnatural expressions, I promise!
