Hi, I'm Mike, the former Royal Butler turned photographer behind Michael Wells Photography. I live in Ilfracombe, North Devon with my wife and our young children. I may be based in North Devon however I photograph weddings from here to Dundee, from The Italian Lakes and back to the beautiful Devon Beaches here on my doorstep. I've worked photographing weddings, since 2006. As a husband and father, former butler, bouncer and barman and having spent my working life dealing with all types of folk from Queenie to Faliraki stag do's gives me a unique perspective and I have developed an instinctive way of shooting weddings knowing where to be at the right time and watching for developing moments.
