Hi I'm Karen, a qualified photographer based in Bushey, Hertfordshire but covering weddings throughout the South East, South and South West of England. Photography has always been my passion and I have been lucky to make it my profession for many years.
If you really don't like having your photo taken (I know I don't) my candid, documentary style enables me to preserve the fun, unique, emotional un-posed moments without the photography impacting on your day. I love all weddings whatever style, big or small.
I meet with all my couples beforehand so that I'm not a stranger on the day but another guest who happens to be carrying a couple of big cameras... and other stuff!
Its important to me that I don't 'get in the way' and so even during your couple portraits, I capture a lovely walk you take alone. We will have looked at your favourite spots at the venue at our pre-wedding meeting/photoshoot and talked about a few things that work well in photos and those that don't. This ensures that on your wedding day you can totally relax and enjoy.
The only time I will be evident is during any group shots you may want, but if you have a big list of highly posed shots, I may not be the photographer for you. Couples that book me want pictures chatting and laughing with their guests, with may be a few groups photos with close family.
I like to preserve the whole story from your morning preparations to way past your first dance. Whilst there are still unique things happening.... sparklers, fireworks or a live band for example, I will still be there!
I spend several days lovingly editing your photos which are presented to you on a USB stick in a beautiful totally unique wooden box or case that compliments your wedding colour theme. Online gallery included in all collections. Albums also available.
