Setting the Trend

Jillyn and Earl were already ahead of the curve by meeting through Match.com, back in the days when online dating was still considered a bit untraditional. A simple message and first move by Jillyn set the whirlwind romance in motion. Their first date was held at a karaoke bar with some whisky courage and a "Never Gonna Give You Up" duet. That evening the stars aligned. But, it was a romantic three-week trip to Spain and a sunrise proposal that makes amorous hearts melt.

Couture Bridal Style

Their wedding planning began soon after the Jillyn and Earl returned to New York. With visions of a timeless, yet contemporary vibe, Jillyn's fashion-forward sense of style set the tone for their dream wedding. She lusted after Zuhair Marad's design acumen and had MoonChi Designs fashion a gold capped feathered cape that was inspired by his couture fashion sense. When Earl first set eyes on this sensational creation, he knew his bride would look like a Grecian goddess - this became the theme for their day. She wore a Romona Keveza gown with sleek perfection and accented her style with accessories bold enough to compliment the cape and gown itself.

Glamorous Outdoor Wedding

As a web designer and programmer, Earl had his own skill set to add to the organization and visualization of their wedding. He was invested in the color schemes and floral which was a fusion of color like none other, blending purples and pinks with the bolds of orange and red. The St. Regis was draped in a light golden fabric that billowed with the day's breeze off the California coast. Intertwined Events and Nisie's Enchanted Florist were a dream team, personalizing every element of this lavish affair.

Grecian Goddess

Lin and Jirsa arranged a blind first touch for the couple that intensified the pure emotion running through Jillyn and Earl that day. When the couple finally had their first look with Jillyn gliding down the St. Regis' indoor winding stairwell, Earl said that as he turned toward Jillyn a strong burst of light shot through the large windows and with Jillyn's beautiful dress and cape Earl thought she in fact did look like a Grecian Goddess come to life.
