A fusion of red elegance and Russian-themed wedding ideas are revealed through the storytelling of photographer La Candella Weddings with this beautiful styled shoot. Sweet Details by Amanda and Bella Fiore Designs use blended mixed antique metals, bold reds and the vintage architecture of an abandoned mansion to showcase the diversity that can be found within the Russian influence of décor and fashion. Bridal styles come to life with varying looks using gorgeous and playful hair and makeup ideas as well as two lush gowns, one for the reception and one for the ceremony.
Pops of Bold Red Elegance
Classic Russian colors of red and gold are, of course, used as the foundation and add a pop of color to the raw, vacated building. La Candella Weddings' desire was to showcase what it might have been like to live in the mansion in its former glory. Various heavy textiles and mixed metals were added to the scene for the sense of masculinity that is evoked by the Russian culture. While the Russian nesting doll, a Matryoshka, is used as a focal point on the elegant tablescape.
Matryoshka Bridal Style
With all eyes on the bride, Kristen Peckich of La Pomponnee Salon & Spa and makeup artist Mandy Boccardi created several differing looks with playful hats, floral crowns and exquisite headpieces. The reception gown by Romantic Threads steals our heart with a ball gown silhouette in a blushing pink with off the shoulder elegance and lace detail. While the ceremony gown by Cocoe Voci presents a stark and beautiful contrast with illusion back floral detailing that complements the romance of the flowing chiffon skirt. Looking like a Russian nesting doll herself, projecting the soul of Russia's native splendor.
