This venue is new to the wedding scene in CO, so the collaboration to bring this shoot together was a manifestation of several creatives coming together. Our couple, originally from Wisconsin, were so excited to be exploring different corners of the state. The prairie east of the Front Range corridor is an often overlooked part of the state. Our alfajores cookies were hand made by Sweet Fabula, a Columbian local who makes absolutely scrumptious desserts. Event Rents, one of Colorados largest supplier of party rentals was absolutely fabulous in helping organize this shoot, with an inventory of linens and table settings that is seemingly endless!
The owners of White Willow Barn live on site, and combined with their rustic venue they also have bison, chickens, goats and cows on site that they raise. Located just outside Colorado Springs, this idyllic location boasts views of Pikes Peak and the prairie. They purchased this property just before Covid hit, with the anticipation of opening for the season in 2020. However when that didn't happen, efforts were directed towards renovations and getting their name out there! There are multiple spaces for hosting a small ceremony, including a small barn and a wooden arch in an open field. Altogether a comfortable, vintage and low stress space for a Colorado wedding.
