The Messy Baking Company

It all started with a childhood dream.

After baking alongside her mother and grandmothers from a young age, Taylor found herself covered in dough and frosting more often than not. Her obsession grew – as did her cookbook collection – and she quickly found that baking was more than just a hobby.

In 2015, Taylor joined North GA Technical College to pursue a certificate in Baking & Pastry Arts. After settling in, the kitchen atmosphere became her second home. Wanting to expand her knowledge, she enrolled in the Pastry Arts Program at Savannah Technical College which only furthered her baking obsession. While there, she went from baking basic family recipes to making sugar sculptures and centerpieces that combined her love of beauty and flavor. She graduated with her Associates’ Degree in Baking & Pastry Arts in 2019 with honors.

After completing a four-week pastry internship in France, Taylor continued working in bakeries, always wishing she could start her own and slowly The Messy Baking Company began to take shape. Honoring her childhood love of baking for special occasions, her goal was to create beautiful and delicious desserts that could make every day its own celebration.

Now, The Messy Baking Company is proud to offer wholesale bakes, custom wedding cakes, and a wide variety of specialty goods – all handmade from scratch, because nothing compares to real desserts made from real ingredients and lots of love.
